Highlighted with the o60's game remaining deadlocked at 1-1 after regular time, extra time & even after strokes (3-3). It went to 'golden stroke' where the pirateship came up stong👨‍🍳
Shoutout to the 5's gent's as well, some class saves from Ken helped them get over the line.

📣Significant Achievement: Adam came to Perth in

📣Significant Achievement:
Adam came to Perth in 2008 to study at Curtin University. He naturally joined Curtin Trinity Pirates and immediately became involved in the Club and continued to do so in coaching and Committee roles up to the present as President this year. Adam showed how much he loved hockey and was always looking for opportunities to double and play 2 games. Adam first played Premier League 1 in 2014. He then played every year until 2023 with the exception of 2020. Adam then played in Curtin University’s 2s and was a grand finalist in 2023.
Congratulations Adam on playing your 185th top team game last weekend & to quote you “hockey is the winner”.

📣Significant Recognition: Glenn left Tambellup

📣Significant Recognition:
Glenn left Tambellup and came to Perth to complete an apprenticeship in 2008.
He naturally joined Curtin Trinity Pirates due to the large number of players from Narrogin and surrounding districts playing for the club. This included Bevan George, who went on to become a decorated Kookaburras player, Gold medallist and Captain. Glenn started playing Premier League 1 and played close to 200 games. During this time, he played alongside other Kookaburras, including Mark Knowles, also a Gold medallist and Captain. In 2017 Glenn took a break for a few years & then returned and played in Curtin University’s 2s. He was a Grand finalist in 2023 and played another 86 games, bringing his tally this weekend to 280 top team games.
Last weekend, we acknowledged Glenn’s achievement over the years and his Most Valuable Player awards from for many seasons, which is testament to his skill and ability.

Finals stickball didn't disappoint ⚔️ Nail-biting, action-packed drama which inevitably saw all our finals teams reach the second preliminary final. Thanks to everyone who showed up in 🍊🏴‍☠️

We bid adiós to our prem teams who went out fighting this weekend. Much love to all our international/ import players for helping make SZN 2025 one to remember, you'll always have a home at the pirateship.
